Why You Should Review The Experient of A Luxury Hotel Furniture Manufacturer in Hospitality Industry

In general, cases are when the hotel projects require a sofa. A simple option is coming to a wholesaler to deal with available sofa options. It creates advantages in cost and long-term business. Because wholesalers run their own ODM or OEM methods for achieving cheaper sofa on large scale. That also benefits hotel businesses as errors or damages occur. Clients easily fix problems with replacements as they choose the available options.

However, luxury hotel projects frequently require unique sofa designs. At least, hotel visitors cannot buy the same sofa in the near furniture store. We completely understand the untold standard due to 20 years of experients in the hotel furniture industry. For 300 hotel projects, we have developed an upholstery workshop as a strength in our capability as a one-stop solution.

A luxury hotel furniture manufacturer does not cover designing areas. Instead, we complete a technical drawing of each furniture item to step forward for producing a sample or mass production.  A lot of decisions are made in the design studio like styles, color, and materials. All of that creates the visual ability for furniture. But it is a different story when the design comes to the manufacturing stage and our technical drawing only supports production.  Many troubles occur. From the standpoint of a luxury furniture manufacturer, we want clients to consider some mainpoint to accelerate production.

Finalizing Material Decision for Upholstered Furniture Items

Warning: it will take so much time to decide specifically material option and which suppliers provide it. Do not run out of lead time!

It is great when the sofa and upholstered furniture items are visualized after the designing stages. At those stages, the design picks the materials to complete the appearance for the sofa, headboard, and others. They are doing excellent with digital samples and giving us the advantages with real samples.

In manufacturing hotel furniture, we have too many material options and even more alternatives. That enhances the production, but also creates problems. Hotel project managers usually deal with questionable cases such as cost, material sources, and durability. The ordinary business principle is to keep efficient spending on each unit while ensuring quality and volume to hotel projects.

Taking some examples, hotel project managers pick up velvet as the first option to complete the design. But they have to step further to which velvet. We list out some options like Chiffon velvet, Embossed velvet, Hammered velvet, or Lyons velvet. Each option has a different supply ability, cost, and durability. The industry flexibly supports us with thousands of suppliers, but we have limitations about lead time to go through all of them.

Let’s take a brief on some popular materials for hotel furniture project.

1. Leather

Animal skin is used to create leather, a natural fabric. Leather has changed greatly over centuries and is said to be the earliest cloth created by human hands. Due to its durability, dustproof, insulative characteristics, and sensual softness, leather represents one of the most desired textile goods. Leather is one of the most versatile natural materials, available in a wide range of shapes, grades, and colors.

However, we should use artificial leather today with lower costs and humanity. In our factory, headboard commontly go with leather rather than the others.

2. Velvet

Velvet is amongst the most popular upholstery materials on the sofa market. For luxury hotel furniture, Velvet not only has a warm and inviting feel but also emphasizes the design of the interiors. It strikes out between the upholstery textiles like chenille and corduroy.

Velvet is typically associated with royalty because of how costly it was to create velvet fabrics earlier. Despite the fact that most forms of current velvet are manufactured using low-cost synthetic materials, this one-of-a-kind fabric remains one of the smoothest and finest man-made fabrics ever created.

3. Linen & Cotton

Although linen is comparable to cotton, it is created from flax stem fibers rather than the bolls that develop around cotton seeds. Linen and Cotton bring significant changes to textile that is mostly used in interior decoration.

In warm and humid areas, linen clothing is preferred for sofa and pillows. Unlike cotton, which retains humidity for a long time, linen dries fast, minimizing heat retention in extremely hot temperatures.
