A new analysis by luxurious furniture company Wood Couture and TOPHOTELPROJECTS indicates the quantity of FF&E needed by four- and five-star establishments in the Americas.

According to an independent analysis by luxurious furniture manufacturer Wood Couture and industry research firm TOPHOTELPROJECTS, hotel projects in the Us will require US$11.75 billion for FF&E in the near future or $29,043 per room. The five-star investments account for $7.36 billion, while the four-star projects account for $4.39 billion.
Analyzed data from the TOPHOTELPROJECTS building projects database, which also shows in the next few years, 404,645 new guest rooms will be completed through the USA, with the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Canada being the top markets overall. Researchers then dug further to get a better understanding of each property’s category and size, combining this information with information on average FF&E costs per key figure in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America to estimate the market’s overall worth.
Loose furniture, decorative lighting, window coverings, decorative accessories, artwork, and carpets are all considered FF&E in this study (where applicable).
